Mail Champlain

In celebration of the Chinese New Year (January 23), Mail Champlain welcomed in its central court exhibition panels on which you discovered images, anecdotes and various attributes pertaining to the Chinese New Year, its traditions and signs.

On location, you also had a chance to admire exceptional Chinese sartorial pieces from the Zhimei Zhang Collection of the Museum of Costume and Textile of Québec.

On Saturday, January 28, the Sifu Gabrielle dance troupe (in collaboration with Sino-Québec de Rive-Sud)) visited Mail Champlain and performed the Lion’s dance for visitors, a dance traditionally associated with the Chinese New Year.
